megan dehn (nee anderson)

Megan, from Woy Woy Peninsula Netball Association on the Central Coast, is head coach of the Queensland Firebirds in the Suncorp Super Netball competition.

Megan was a member of the Australian Diamonds Netball Squad from 2000 through to 2006, including the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

In July 2006 she was awarded the Australian Sports Medal for netballing achievements.

In 2010 Megan was selected as a member of the Invitational World Netball Team that took on the New Zealand Silver Ferns in three test matches. The World Team defeated the Silver Ferns 2-1 in that series and she is the first and only player to feature in both the National Bank Cup and Commonwealth Bank Trophy competitions' grand finals as the same time. 

Megan has her Elite level Coaching Certificate and has experience coaching all levels of netball (including as a Diamonds Specialty Coach).

Alison is a Gosford Netball Association  junior representative. Alison has been inducted into the NSW Hall of Champions and the Central Coast Sports Federation Hall of Fame, recognising her amazing contribution to the sport of netball. 

Alison played elite netball in the Mobil League during 1994-1996, before becoming a foundation member of the Sydney Swifts in 1997 where she made 152 appearances during a ten-year period. Alison finished her career with four Commonwealth Bank Trophy Championship titles (2001, 2004, 2006 and 2007) and as part of the 2006 Australian Team of the Year.

Alison also made 35 appearances for the Australian Netball Team from 2001 to 2006, including winning a 2002 Commonwealth Games Gold Medal in Manchester, 2006 Commonwealth Games Silver Medal in Melbourne, and Silver at the 2003 Netball World Cup in Jamaica.
